SX40 colour 348?

Im having trouble contemplating whether its a good dirty water colour, or clearwater colour?
Anyone had any success with this colour?

Had it once.

In the SX43, never went too well for me.

But, I remember seeing a post about someone being very successful on that colour in the SX40 size...

Also, Zipbait has a similar colour 'Carmin Red' and there are dozen of good reports about it.

Should be good, but it may depend on the area.

This may help the thread a bit.

As Nic said probably be good in both conditions but given the dark colour I would we using it more in the dirty water than the clear.

Guarantee it won't catch you fish in your tackle box.

I've got a couple in that colour, and a couple of Rigge 46 and Khamsin JR Zipbaits in red. They work in murky/muddy water really well, but also put out a low shine in clear water that doesn't seem to spook fish either. Worth having in the box and throwing around

This colour is an original ZipBaits colour and is available in Khamsin Tiny, Khamsin Jr, Rigge 56F & Rigge 56F Deep and Rigge 46SP-MDR, very good all round colour and usually the first one I tie on these days

Our colour codes are #505 Carmen Red & #405 Ghost Carmen Red

Lets cut the rubbish and 'Mark bashing'. Mark simply responded to a comment in regards to a colour range comment, nothing more. Keep it on track or face some time off, this sort of thing is getting very tiresome.

Thanks,

Iv had massive success with this colour i'n the khamsins around Forster and taree and st helens. In the sx I'm not sure iv found this colour works best i'n shallow water, perhaps i havnt persisted with it i'n deeper water.

A) it's not like Mark is the only guy who talks up his product on this forum; and
B) he also provides some genuine advice and content.

back to the colour,
yes it is a zipbait colour that has been taken...
anyway, the colour does work really well but because it's a foil colour it isn't the most durable.

As for water colour i find it to work in both but neither one heaps better i just used it as something different.

it can work really well and stir up alot of interest but it wouldn't be my first pick of lure colour.

cheers
Boris
