Most Underrated lure

That's right, lets have a more positive thread about those lures that work hard, get the job done but don't get all the glory!
My go-to around pylons when nothing is happening is still the old StrikePro Micro Vibe- don't even know if these are still made but what a quiet achiever!

ha! this was my idea from another thread but alright....

gillies poppers are under rated...a bit of tuning and away they go!

Hawk chubbies and the new berkley range are pretty underated imo.

Merry xmas and keep breamin'

After a recent cull, I no longer own any crankbaits that are'nt sub $20...The choice and standard of sub $20 cranks these days is that good that I've sold all my overhyped twenty-somethings as I don't catch any more fish on them, they just cost more...

So for me it would definately have to be the humble SX40...it seems to have been passed over a bit lately in the wake of more expensive lures-I think because it's been around for so long and breamin' is always slave to the next big thing, but it's never stopped catching for me. I've caught that many hawgs on them over the years...

I may be wrong here but the Jackall Chubby Minnow. I hardly ever hear anyone talk about it/trip reports with them hanging out of Breams mouths. The action on them is just awesome and the colours are very nice.

Thats one of my go-to lures. I've caught plenty of bream on that; just havent been taking many pics lately

I'd really have to agree with Gav on this one. Sx40s for sure. With all the new bream lures on the market the good ole trusty Sx40 has lost a chunk of its name.
