smith luna 47s for the flats. fish it with a couple of really aggressive rips of the rod followed by about a 5-10 second wait and repeat

the strike pro pygmy's do pretty well and they aren't as expensive as an sx but you're still getting a quality product

If you are fishing drop offs.
You should try a few deep diving HB's or even some soft plastic's.
Powerbait Powerminnow in the Pumkin seed and Squidgy Flickbait in evil minnow WONT let you down!
As for hards, Jackall Chubby Deep is a must have.
Basically any deep cranks.
Ecogear SX43 is my Favourite for big bream.
I know you said no topwater but if you are fishing shallow flats. Topwater is by far the funnest way to fish.
And a proven 'technique'.
If so I HIGHLY suggest the rebel Pop-R. Easily my favourite topwater for most species - e.g. Bream, bass, trevally, queenfish. Once you get the right technique. You'll come to love it too. Just a tip with them, try make the lure "bloop" at a constant pace.
Thats all you need to do .
Other proven lures;

- LuckyCraft Tango, Sammy.
- Bassday Sugadeep, SugaPen.
- Cultiva Mirashad.

Those are my PB of all my lures. But there are plenty more....

Hth's.
