Nice

If that black one had a flouro orange belly I personally think you'd sell a lot more of 'em.

Matt black is a proven performer but the added contrast, especially in the murky stuff, wins every time

Next Manufacture run no problems.
Until then you will have to resort to a fluro paint pen.

Nah I use a tub of old hobby paint and a brush from my RC car days - lasts better

I will say though that these are a seriously underated lure that will outfish plenty of supposedly 'gun' lures if given a chance.

I started using this lure when it first came out. It has been an outstanding performer on a number of species aside from bream including whiting, trevally, flathead and jacks.

I think the only problem I have had with them is the hooks. I would like to change them for the type of species you're particularly targeting.

Accurate casting is a must with these. Get them in tight to structure and let them float down next to the structure. Don't close the bail until you're comfortable with the depth at which it has gone.

Unlike other lures where you want to remain in contact, you actually do not want to remain in as close contact with this lure. It is work and move better by not remaining in as close contact. You will get hits on the drop more so this way.

Like SPs, hop with finnesse and drop the rod tip straight down to lose contact with the lure. Watch your line and hopefully you'll see a fish take the lure.

I've found it work best in areas known for good jelly prawn congregations and glass minnow type baitfish around snags, canal pylons, boats, etc.

A very much under-rated lure when it first came out. All range of colours work well.

Enjoy using them. Oh yes, go very light line, such as 2lb fluoro with a short shock tippet leader of about 12lb <30cm.

bang

Good lure but fairly fast sink....flats you have to retrieve quicker than you would normally like in skinny water....where pawns live
Flathead love them on a drop off.....
Agree needs/better to be fished deep
Good hooks- down size maybe
50mm would be welcomed in my lure box
