25mm and 38mm Home Made Blades SS316

25mm and 38mm Home Made Blades SS316

Just got some ss316 from work, and shaped them, very easy.

Used Loctite for the weight on the 38mm...unsure what i am going to do on the 25mm.

Will post photos when complete.I will be placing eyes on them both.

25mm with have a single Treble System.38mm with have twin Treble System.

Will also micro-polish as these are unfinished. Also drill adjustment points for the top.

looking very nice so far mate.

Where did you get your inspiration for the shape?

If in doubt can't go wrong following the lead of the VX or TT's

Perhaps TT's...

I am unsure how they will swim,so i will only pump out these two.

If they swim okay,i am going to pump out about 10 of the 38mm and 5 of the 25mm....i have mates who have already asked me for some 'freebies'...

Which is cool...might give a few away on this site also...it would be unreal to see one of them hanging out of the gob on a big Breambo !

TBA.

Hard to see from the pic, but they will vibe way better if you have the weight tapered.

i.e becoming wider from top to bottom

nice shape, heaps microvibeish

Yeah they do look good.. i guess it's all trial and error if you create you're own design. I'v seen alot of home made jobs copying the TTs as they are a fairly simple and effective design.

Feel free to send me a couple for trial if you feel that way inclined

Just finished polishing them......

Added the front weight on the 25mm one.

Also made a 90mm one for the Gold Coast Seaway this weekend.

This one was made using 3mm thick Marine Grade Aluminium.
