Are HMKL lures actually Jackalls? Or just designed by the same bloke?

No hidden meaning behind my question.

Also no hidden meaning they're both very good lures but was confused by this also so asked my friend who knows the president of HMKL.

HMKL is a different company to Jackall but they use them for OEM production, not unusual for Japanese companies to do this and was amazed to see a lot of other brands coming out of the Bassday factory when I was there.

From what I understand they are made by Jackall and have the Jackall Branding on the Box.

Can you be a bit more specific as i have heard nothing but good reports about these lures. If you believe the lure to be faulty you can always take it back to the place of purchase for a replacement.

With all the fresh water in our estuaries at the moment lures like this could be a great asset.
