berkley 3b cranks scumdog

hey guys i bought one of these the other day and iv caught a few fish on it just wondering what everybody else has caught and the retrieves they use. i use the simple retrieves walk the dog with and without pauses for bream and whiting caught a few trevally aswell though.

the walk the dog retrieve- just keep repeatedly twitcing the rod tip when standing in the water face the rod up but if in a boat or a jetty face the rod tip down either straight down or to the side you prefer. heres a tip rough water makes it really hard for the lure to walk so try places that are blocked off for examples the canals or up creeks

Can't speak for the that lure, but the pop dog is absolutely awesome.

just bought one myself the other day, love the walk the dog action on it. tried it out this arvo and first cast had a bream come right up to my feet and take strike at it awesome lure will be getting more ..!!

I bought 2 and the one of have used i found the action pretty ordinary, havent even taken the other out of the packet. Its a disappointment as used the fatdog and absolutely love it

I think with scumdog, it has to be very calm
for the action and casting as it only small.
The popdogs are the way to go IMO,
the walk , pop , spit.

The sinking stick bait is good too, just let it sit
get picked up off bottom.
