Lucky Rings

Hey there

I seen the lucky Craft ( Lucky rings)
other day http://www.luckycraft.com/luckycraft...ories/ring.htm
There more oval shape
Anyone used these and find them good ?
I was going to use them on Walk Dog lures
only where leader is tied on,

Dean

mate they seem to look like what chubby`s have on them & i find them OK,but when there`s a bit of wind around i prefer to tie straight to the lure when using a walk the dog lure

ive had trouble with oval rings on jackalls. they sometines get stuck with the flat side agaist the tow point and the lure swims sideways.
i think this only happened cos the rings were really too big for the lures tow point. but still.......
dont bother with them.
and use a loop knot for surface lures, gives a much, much better action.

Thumbs up

I really like them, they come on the pointers and I wish more lures had them.

As far as theories go, they are meant to be able to get a better size to strength rating.
