Blade Problem

Hey fellas.

Have been using blades for about 3 months now, and have a good collection of Strike Pro & TT Switchblade blades.
They have been great and i have caught heeps of fish on them, but, its starting to annoy me how, the trebles get caught up every few cast.
Am i doing something wrong or is this the norm for blades ?
Is there a way around it ? Changing trebles ? What about Single Hooks ?
I got a Damiki Vault the other day, it looks the goods, and i like how it only has one W hook on it. I'll give it a flick soon.

Thanks

be prepared for disappointment,i find the vault to be the biggest offender of the prob you are experiencing,in my opinion.
but then again i find the switchblade to be very well behaved

cheers

try what i said, it will settle any blade no matter what make or model, just make sure you have lots of leader and a smooth cast

damikis are worst what ive found is cast and just before the blade hits the water grab the line to stop the blade quikly this wil straighten everything out and then u can let the lline go to let the lure sink or u can just flick the bail over in the first palce this works IMO

I remember some one getting tangled with lures for tailor, the advice was to stop the lure just before it hits the water, i guess the idea is to make sure the lure is at the furtherest point away from the line as it sinks down.

On Edit > I was beaten to the punch,,great minds think alike, lol

A nice smooth cast to get them flying straight is the trick, and, unless you really have to, don't stop them mid flight.

Oh and I've found Ecogears VX series to be the most tangle free
