Bill's Bugs

I have had a family member ask me to get him a particular lure. It is called a Bill's Bug. I have tried all the normal locations around town, but to no avail. I have seen them on some Queensland and NSW sites, but none here.

Can anyone direct me to a supplier of this mysterious product?

PS Breamers in WA may not even use them, but he says they are "top shelf" where he is from!!!

'The Producers'

Aren't they made by those yankee mob, the lure company is called "the Producers" (I think ?), they always seem to be in bargain bin displays, with comical characters on them supposedly named after US pro's and a bit of a blurb/story on the back about the fisher, or how the lure came about

Hi Cammos, the Bill's Bug is a Aussie lure made in NSW it is one on the best top water bass and cod lures around, in saying that, there is a better one also made here in Aust, called the Jaysea Gremlin (see pic) both are great lures and have been copied by several commpanys and flopped out in Asia.

The Bill's Bug is a fizzer (one of the best), while the Jaysea Gremlin is a paddler.

There's a slight difference in design, behaviour, and application.

Regards

Simon.

Oops, forgot to mention the original Bill's Bug is not a fisser, it's a paddler, made in Inverell NSW, by a guy called Bill Clarke.

Cammos here's two Bill's Bugs.

The top one is marketed as a 'Flutter Bug', and the bottom ones is marketed as a 'Mice Bug'.

Ones a paddler and one's a fizzer.

Hi Guys,

Bill Clarke who makes Bills Bugs actually lives in Maclean or Yamba on north coast of NSW not Inverell. Cheers.

Hi,
Yeah, it's Yamba from memory. I've lost his contact details but he's a nice guy to deal with. The Bill's Bugs range also includes some nice diving minnows although they're a bit big for bream.
Cheers,
Rigzz
