haven't caught a whiting on stickbait yet but I heard they're great in glassy conditions because of their subtle action

The Skinny pop and Stiffy are my fave

Try a search this has come up loads before. I have heard 2ft heavy leader 12-16 lb to help keep the lure tracking straight and keep it blooping/walking at a steady pace. I know a guy who cleans up using this method on flats down the coast he always has a bag full of whiting whenever I run into him. He uses a Luckycraft NW Pencil in cicada but you will get them on loads of other lures also.

Yeah i use Stiffy Poppers probs my favourite with good weight and Whiting love the FRV colour.Ive thrown a Stiffy Top Dog at em with no result,i dont know maybe it was a tad rough on the water for it.Ill try some others aswell like the Pencil mentioned ive heard they are good aswell.
Cheers.
