What not to do

After a fun 'n' short session at the docklands, it was getting quite cold, and loss of feeling within my hands was becoming quite apparent.

So without thinking.. or taking the lures off I packed up my rods in the car and off i went.

When i got home.. little did i realise that the treble on my lure got stuck in an umbrella. It was impossible to get it out with my hands, so out come the pliers.. end result

ahaha yeah that has happend to me before
except i stupidly put it in the pockets of my shorts and after numerous attempts to get it unhook i ended up getting frustrated and cutting a circle out of my shorts around the trebles
it happens to everyone at least once

Sowing my sensitivity here but... How do the evergreen go with singles??? Less fouling? better hook-ups?

Thats the 1oz so the actions pretty crazy regardless of what hooks you put on them. The singles enhance the action imo, The hooks sway side to side with the lure which looks good when in strong current.

Its hard to say how much better/worse they are when it comes to hooking up becuase it varys hit to hit but with fish that engulf the lures when they do hookup you can put heaps of pressure on them compared to trebles which often rip out.

Nice.

I have a few of the 3/4 ounce jobbies that I was thinking of bringing out for snapper season. Might give them a shot with singles.
