Stiffy poppers

Hi all just wanting some feedback on these and what colours have worked best for you? Cheers guys

Used pearl white colour and had a bit of success on a few whiting and a few bream and flathead

Really Only used the Pearl white (FRV)
Go to whiting lure here.

Just got a few limited ed to try.
The Zipbait colour clear with brown stripes,
blue dot on bottom.

I just give the rod tip 3 or 4 quick flicks to get it blooping. really short little pauses. when you see a fish come up behind it just twitch it away from it, it fires them up so they actually hit it with some intent rather than kissing it. mind you this technique isnt so great atm while the weather and water is cold. in the middle of summer though its fool proof.

Thanks man will defs use that tecnique. can't wait for the water and weather to heat up. I'm sick of this bloody cold

I have used the FRV colour and "bushy's favourite" colour, the FRV works a treat in clear water, on whiting bream and flathead and bushy's favourite works well in dirtier water, i've only caught bream on this one though...

I find a few short sharp "bloops" followed by a long pause, and then a small sweep of the rod (so the lure just moves in the water) usually gets the fish excited.

I like to upgrade the hooks, especially if these are used in oyster racks - i've snapped a few standard hooks before.

Yep! FRV for sure.The Whiting can't get enough of it ah plus Stiffy poppers cast a mile!

stiffy poppers are the go
they cast a mile and a half and have caught me bucket loads of bream and whiting
the pearl and the clear/red head ones always work
