Zipbaits Skinny Pop Jr in any transparent colour. Walks and pops like a champ, also the Bubble Pop 35 isn't bad

without a doubt my favourite surface lure for bream and whiting is the smith shirasu minnow in the floating version.absolutely deadly when used over weedbeds or sandflats.the clear with orange stripes on the back is my all time favourite surface lure

pigdog i have been using the floating tiemco stick minnows for quite some time now and yes they work well, but compared to the floating smith shirasu minnow they are very very average. Once you try a shirasu minnow you will see what i mean. The smith crystal alive is another awesome bream and whiting lure too.and no i have no affiliation with smith ltd whatsoever but im sure spiro(bream miagi) will back me up on these claims.cheers

yes mate they are very light, i throw them using 2lb stren microfuse and a small 3ft leader of 3lb flurocarbon, they work well either wlak the dog style or ripped in short sharp bursts across the surface with lots of very long pauses in between. hope this helps somehow mate, all the best
