Arrow Permanent Marker

Gday folks.
Ive seen a few blokes use permanent marker as well as nailpolish on lures to make them look more appealing in the conditions they fish in.

Don't these things create some sort of smell underwater that makes it more unappealing to fish?

Cheers
Pat

In my experience the bream hate it - they're always trying to rasp it off with their teeth

If you're worried about the smell you could smear some scent on it.

I've seen blokes do it to clear poppers and still picked up fish on them
