I will give you guys a small insight to Nabsies win, something that he won't tell you as he is a quiet bloke.

Nabsie and I prefished together and worked out a pattern that was very successful.
As it turned out I got Nabsie as My day 1 non boater, Nabsie being the good bloke he is, said that I could use the lure of choice during prefish and he would use something different until I had my bag ,only then he might change over.

As it turned out I got the small undersize fish and Nabsie proceeded to kick my arse with the larger fish.

A good honest win for Nabs.

Micks got it spot on. It was a very tough bite. On the first day I had my fish really early and was very confident of pulling a bag. Mick and I both missed a lot of fish but I didnt think much of it as I didnt think we would struggle to find fish for the rest of the day!

The 2nd day proved to be a lot tougher with not much to show. Even undersize were hard to come by. It wasnt until about 12 that we fished a few pontoons and boats and managed to quickly bag 3 fish and that was it for my day.

Pontoons did it for me this weekend. Not the usual thing for the Tweed, but im glad I got them in the end!
