Smith Camion DR?

Well i recently saved up some money to buy some expensive lures i brought 1 smith camion and an SX 40 now iv heard heaps on ecogears range of lures but not much on the smith range of camions. the camion DR i have is colour 14 so its quite see through and the guy i was talking to were i brought it in alpine country in sale said fish it when it more of a clearer day and when the waters clear and his said the oppisite with the sx40 because its a brownie colour.
1. so i want to know has anyone else used or are still using camoin DRs and is the colour i have a good colour?
2. Also i live on the west side of ppb in victoria some victorians may be able to help me hear to where would be the best place to fish the camions in around melbourne, what type of sctrure?

Colour looks fine, their action can best be described as a fat ar$ed woman waddling her way to church on a sunday morning.

Those SMith Camion lures are a killer in either shallow or deep. Use the shallow version up here over the flats etc in colour 40 & 02 and great on bream, flatties etc In the deep version sames colours and produce the goods in the deep gutters, around structure etc.

The camions are a top lure. I use them on rockwalls and the shallow version I found is really good for fishing around snags. A boring ol' slow roll can be deadly with them.
