Cranka questions

Hey guys,

Just wondering how well they suspend and overall performance of these great looking lures.

While waiting for the Marias to be released. Might shoot up some of these.

Cheers

Pretty sure the maria's are released. Either that or fishin.com.au is selling gear that isn't in stock.

Also, the cranka shads actually sinks to about 1-1.2 meters (suspending level).
They swim head down with a a nice wild wobble. Yet to get anything good on it, Although the pike love it!
Although teethmarks is always a good thing in a lure.
hope this helps,

I've found that the floating chacteristics of the lure are affected by the salinity of the water way and what hooks you have on them. The packet says they are suspending, i've found that they very very slowly sink, but change the trebs to owner st-11 and they will rise.
I've caught plenty on them, including a 75cm flathead and plenty of solid bream. They work best on a slow retrieve with a few jerks on the retreive.

Hope this helps

Marias aren't in the country en masse yet, only a few samples are kickin about. They will be here sometime mid to late July and available soon after. I would grab em' while ya can at the advertised price as they won't stay at that for too long me thinks. Would have thought a more realistic price would be around 16-17 bucks.
Crankas have suspended like a rock for me. I know they have been particularly good on blackies and a few guys seem to rate them on the yellas too !

Rumour going around the traps was that certain retailers had the wrong price on the maria's and that they will retail around $16.This may explain why some online stores took the prices off the websites. apparently they be in sometime this month.

Are you complaining that the advertised price is too low?

I personally am sick and tired to see some bream lures in shops with sticker price $34.95
