Damiki Lure Monthly Competition for July

Searing Tackle, importers of the Damiki range of lures have $100 worth of give aways to a lucky winner.

To clarify how it works
  • each member can post up their 2 best pics with a fish sporting a lure from any available through Searing Tackle.
  • Please make sure that you post only 2 pics and that the lures are Damiki.

Please be aware that all pics submitted in this competition may be used by BreamMaster or Searing Tackle in future BreamMaster and Searing Tackle promotions.

The winner will be chosen by BM members via poll, you do not need flashy cameras to make a great pic, innovative pics and good composition go a long way and a great big smile to go with a PB doesnt hurt either.

Have fun all

Talking At last a nice one on a Damiki

Well I have just missed Junes comp so I guess I will have to start this months. I took out a work mate (who is keen to land a Breamski on any sort of lure) to show him a few of my favourite spots. After spending the first couple of hours without a hit it was almost time to pack it up and head off to work. So much for getting up early to fit a fish in before work, especially when it has been as cold as it has. There was one last spot left, on this particular stretch of the Murray, that I had to try. The first cast produced nothing even though it landed in a sweet spot. The second cast landed in the same spot, but this time as I twitched my new Damiki F grub, in light cinnamon, past my favourite snag it screamed of. I let out the usual "woohooo", then I thought I had better keep quiet as this one seemed to like its little snag. I didnt want Ryan to see me drop a fish, but he had heard me and came running up the bank to see the last of the runs this mad fish was doing. We finally landed it took a quick pick on my phone and put it back in. It would have to be at least equal to my PB and the biggest Bream that Ryan had ever seen. I think Ryan is now hooked and it wont be long before we see him on here .

Been pretty busy at uni but had a few hours spare and picked up a few nice flatties on the Holo Red Gold Vault 35 and Chartreuse Silver D-Grub.

Hi Afro man, the online stores (see the sponsor stores of www.mylureshop.com and www.fishin.com.au ) are your best best. otherwise tacklewarehouse in brisbane is your closest store

cheers

Had my first crack today with the Damiki for the first time. I caught 3 thumpers and lost 2 with the lures attached. I recon one of them would have been over my PB of 42. Bye bye pink Damiki

I havnt had a session like this before, as i only hooked into SOLID fish. Maybe the cold is going away... or Maybe the Damiki was the secret???

well done mate, nice fish especially at this time of the year when they can be a little harder to tempt from the edges

not really a winning shot, but throught Id share it anyway! Have been meaning to use this larger vault for some time, and it finally came into its own when I realised I had no metal slugs and the salmon were around. It got absolutely hammered!
