S.S.B.S Round 5 Results

After being cancelled due to bad weather, round 5 has been run. With alot of rain fall in the week leading up to the event the Shoalhaven river was brown as, but as always, breamers found the fish!
For the kayakers Stuart Dunn of team Sailing Scene won with 1 bream weighing 0.825kg, only 1 other yakka troubled the scorers and that was Jason Childs who took second place and qualified for the grand final as Stewy had already made the cut.
For the boating teams it was team Arkin consisting of Mark Crompton and Glenn Ross giving the rest a lesson on dirty water breaming! Their bag pulled the scales down to 3.270kg securing them 1st place and a spot in The Squidgy Southern Bream Series Grand Final.
51 teams fished and there were 24 zero's, to say it was tough would be an understatement.
Steve Fields of Hobie Fishing caught the Culburra Bait and Tackle/Hobie Cat Australasia Big Bream weighing 1.36kg.
