Question Surface lures in the WA systems ?

My missus just returned from the shops with a new Megabass Dog X-JR 75mm surface lure . I finally beat her into submission. lol
My Question is-
Does anyone have success on them in the Swan/Canning Rivers or the Blackwood ?
Cheers
Hillster

I've never really put a huge amount of effort into surface lures in Perth, I've been using PX45s lately and getting alot of fish coming up to it, but they always seem to miss. I'm favoring those smaller ones personally.

Although I have had some BIG bream follow in Megabass Anthrax surface lures (83mm) but no takers yet. Persistance is the key.

Brad they work up guildford area in swan, albany blackwood ,and the pole
just make sure you pause them 2 or 3 times per cast for a while
also change the trebbles to Gamakatsu wide gape
and lots of Sfactor or Mega strike on the bottom

Don't know if you'll have much luck from now on with the water temps dropping but Summer your in with a chance.

Hasn't really taken off over here possibly less productive on Blacks? but some say not or people just aren't trying that much.?

Only one way to find out Hillster but reckon you'd be struggling now it's getting colder.

Check out Callum Dowells article in the latest edition of the WAFM might give you some pointers.
