Tips for HB's fishing

Hey all just wondering whether people have some general tips they are willing to offer any help will be much appreciated, i'm new to fishing HB's but have used plastics for many years. The only occasions I use HB's are for tailor cause they will just tear through the plastics but they are much easier to catch then bream :P.

Any tips to do with retrieves, different lure types and which conditions they are better suited to. Just anything that will help out a HB newbie like me.

Cheers Tony,

tony, no expert by any means test, but for me its the ecogear SX48f retrieved with regular sweeps of the rod & then paused. Am experimenting with other lures and retreives presently, particularly the zipbait range, but one thing I have found is that like castrol, not all lures work as well with the same retrieve

I use atomic mid divers mainly and all I do is a strait out retrieve along the banks at any kanals really and max 8lb leader with a slow but not to slow retrieve.
cheers
