Very different lures and actions and both catch fish if you want to get down Deep try the Hickory MDR they'll dive to 1.8m+ all fitted with Owner ST-36 trebles so ready to fish out of the box "no need to upgrade trebles"

the deep diving hickory is a jem!
i have a fond memory of sight casting a good fish sitting off a submerged tree in 2m of water. dredged it past the tree and he shot out and smashed it!
awsome action on them and they cast like a bullet!

Done very well in the old gold model MDR in the murray too- way up in the nasty country.

Got some action on them today. They worked well bumping along the bottom stirring it up, I got a nice fiesty 37 that lept ot of the water
