Pimp My Lure (Awesome Stuff)

Hi Guys

I thought that I would let you know that I have added a page to the Vic Bream website about Dan Stead and Pimp My Lure. He does an awesome job at transforming lures you don't use into your favourite lure. Click on the link and have a look at some of the lures he has pimped for me.

Cheers
Bill

Having seen Dans work firsthand he is an artist. I have looked at the entire range of impact bladez in the flesh (metal) and he has done a cracking job with the colour schemes.

A great way to replicate lures that come in a colour you can't seem to get your hands on.

Maybe its just me, but the 3rd, 4th and 5th from the bottom in that link...

Regardless, most of his resprays that I've seen in the flesh are great.

How much to get it done? Wouldn't exactly be cheap, but sweet looking lures!

Yeah about $6 a lure I think. When you consider that people spend 15 to 25 dollars on new lures with heaps sitting in their tackle boxes they won't through getting them repainted is actually much more cost effective

Have had about 50 lures "pimped" already and cannot speak higher of his quality and matching of colours asked for. You won't be disappointed.

Geez I might have to send him 10 Halco Skin Deeps and get him to do them up in Yellowfin, its a custom colour we have been getting made up but we have to do them in 50 at a time, im down to about 3 but still have 50 odd in other colours that I can afford to change.

Might send him a couple just for the hell of it, and see how good they look when they come back. What is the rough turnaround for getting them back, Id assume he is quite busy>

cheers

Yeh i got a few lures "pimped" a while back and they came out awesome. Definately worth it if you got lures in colours that you dont use.

had some hawk chubbies done in zipbait colours, ghost carmen red etc...

love them and they work as good as if not better than the jackals and still come in under $15 so not to dear to throw into the worst country possible.
