Well was an awesome couple days it was,,some kayakers landing 50+ fish a day,,getting the big boys was harder but everyone had fun regardless.

First port of call was check in Grant Alderton from Sailpower marine (Perths Hobie dealer) had the BBQ going,,coffee, tea, hot chocolate, breakfast cereals availble,,we were each given food packs to keep us going till we got back for the lunch time BBQ, thanks Grant.

While we waited for the briefing it was time to scope out the opposition,,4 are in the top 5 on the ABT circiut,

Time to rock and Rock,,

Plenty of locals about cruising the shallows,,

During the fishing tiome i took no pictures but heres a few more some at random

ABT No.2 Scott Lovig checks out his gear,

Possibly the best kayak bream fisher in the country and currently No.1 Greg Lewis talks to Simon Goldsmith (ABT)

Steve Fields ABT no 4 (head of Hobie Australia (right) chats to Scott Lovig

Local lad Brett Ozzane picks up the biggest bream day 1

Popular breammaster member Dahoughsta put the willys up the dream team with this bag (kayaks is out of 3 bream)

Walpole winner Scott Baker No.5 on the Austrailian circuit

The breams favourite part of the day,,

Greg Lewis picked up day 2 's biggest bream

Theres still snags and onions on the BBQ but you had better be quick,,

My first two legal bream ever, i was hopeing to knock off the best without ever catching a legal before,,in true fakeing it style,,it was not to be though but great to fish with the best in the country and how many others had an ABT photographer taking the picture of your first bream ? lol

In closing i would like to say a great time was had by the kayakers, the Eastern States guys had a ball and it was mentioned they would like to have rounds in Mandurah and the Swan.

It was great to put some names to faces ,hope we do it all again some time and well done to Ben Hough (dahousta)he beat the number 4 & 5 ranked in Australia on a leaking quest paddle craft, a remarkable effort against the big guns ,,, he is our W.A rep in the Grand Final where everything will be laid on for him in Sydney in May including a fully set up Pro Angler with live well,,good luck.
