I have had good results with SMITH vibes in black and gold in dirty water in the Patto river after a rain. It was the only thing I could get a bite on all day.

i like crank baits in dirty coloured water, as they have a larger profile and give out more vibrations than a smaller lure. Also a plastic with a decent amount of sent applied to it can work well if the lure is worked really slowly.

I've found that bright orange / golds work well in dirty water. Strike Pro have a Pygmy that is black top, yellow flanks and orange belly.
