Question Motorguide Maintainence

I have recently purchased a 67 pound Motor guide FW.
I mainly use it in salt and always wash it down after every trip but what other maintainence should I do regularly to keep it tip top.
I saw something in the manual about lubricating joints, but not with spray on lubricants?
Any advice would be great.

Cheers
Captain

Mainly spray under the foot pedal on all connections with Inox or Lanox, just to prevent corrosion.

Make Sure you have an anode on your shaft.

Half way up the shaft is the main bearing, grease this every month or 2 with marine grease and thats pretty much all you need to do besides a wash down with soapy water after an outing.
