gooday all

just moved down from qld to melbourne, and i,m hoping to fish your bream comps here.i see there are a few posts up looking for boaters but thought i,d put mine up to introduce myself.have been fishing in bream and bass comps up in qld.almost since thier inception, with only mixed results.at the moment i have a 4.75m hornet which is probably set up as well as it can be,just needs a few adjustments after the trip down aid it should be good to go.im 54yo and have been in the building trade since i left school.my wife was offered a big promotion down here so we eventually decided to move,we have 3 grown up kids who are scattered all over the globe,so we werent tied down. after 3 weeks here now i still haent wet a line but hopefully will get down to patterson lakes tomorrow(fri).and will hopefully catch my 1st black bream.if any non boaters out there are looking for a possible boater for the upcoming teams comps please feal free to drop me a pm and we can arrange to go fishing sometime. thanks dave.

Welcome to Melbourne Wardie, hopefully the fishing isn't too disapointing. Will no doubt see you around the traps once your back fishing.

Welcome aboard Mate,
Just say hi to any luries you see on the water and chances are they are from this forum. and most in Melb are friendly. You'll generally find a few of us at the docks or the nong.
