To the boater on the Marybinong

To the gentleman (and i use that term loosely) who was seen on the river around dusk tonight in the white centre console aluminium boat travelling at warp factor 6. I hope your not a member here but if you are. I see you do not have a name on your boat, i have a suggestion for you why dont you call it FWIT after the person driving it.
There is a speed limit on the river for a reason. Its no ones fault that you dont have lights on your boat and are racing to get back to the ramp because it is getting dark.
Dont you realise that there are two rowing clubs on that section of the river and a number of other craft use it to not to mention people let their pet dogs swim in it to.
This is not the first time i have seen you do this.

Yes they do have a right to be there but so do the fisho's. If you have fished either of these river from a boat you will understand.

I have been as polite as I can and even get out of the way of these ROWERS THAT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE THERE and just get abused.

Maybe they should go and do a sport that faces forwards and they won't run into anyone and be able to see what is coming to them.

Not really asking you to do that, but wanted people to know there is the another side the story.
And BTW i was at work today and don't own a boat, so it wasn't me

Guys i am not a rower i am a landbased fisherman that watched this boat go flat out down the river. He will ruin it for everybody. Like everything its the minority that stuffs it up for the majority.

It wasn't me (not this time anyway)..

But the rowers are hypocrites of the highest order, they break the 5 knot limit all the time and their coaches in the little tinnies have no regard for the speed limit either, except when we overtake the rowers at around 10knots, then they wanna play the law abiding citizen role and yell the speed limit to you.

Some of them are fine, but I have had to yell out to them before they collide with my boat while I'm fishing the edges of the river under leccy power, only to be abused by them....go figure.
