Boat Stabilization

Has anyone used these before on their tinnies?

What are they like, are there any downsides to using these?

never used those ones
but i have used the ones that are like wings you fold down when at rest, or slow motoring
i forget the name of them but they are very good
in a 12ft tinny, two big burly blokes can be on one side and the boat remains almost perfectly stable
