Thanks Dror,
Had a ball, the weather conditions couldnt have been any more different from the last time the west Oz boys were there. Blue skies no wind and warming up during the day. My boaters Brownie and Mark were great guys and easy to fish with.
Every time i go there i learn a bit more and try some different things. But with those rivers being so big its a choice of were to go if you dont have the big horse power boats. I thought i might have nailed it with a couple of decent fish on the second day which from reports during the day was fishig hard. With 10 minutes to go line was peeling off the stella big time on the flats, enough for mark to look on with ample interest calling it for a kegger for sure. It was a fair ways off the boat but we could see the silvery white flashes in the distance. Cut a long story short it was a big ass flattie swimming upside down all the way in. GUTTED.
I think the good thing about being a non boater is that if your first days boater fished a certain plan that didnt work the next day can be totally different. 4 of the top non boaters would have been wiping the comp off on day 1 only to get big bags on day 2.
AH well time to get back fishing for some blacks, well might just duck over to lake Mac first, anyone interested.

Hear what you are saying, did it a bit at port and at tweed cant wrap my head around it, just like bait fishing with plastics.
