What happened to using correct spelling and grammar?
Use a hand line, that is, untill you learn to spell good.
I'm certainly no proffessor, but geeze!

Yes, learn to "spell good" don't worry about learning to "spell well" or "spell better".... At least use proper english if your going to pull someone else up on it fosterfisho. It was a bit of an effort to decipher that first question though.

Rovex are a good product, often derived from Penn Reels such as the Applause, Accord, Affinity. Good Value for money like the Penns. Some models are a bit ordinary though. Which were you looking at?

lol

Never used Rovex ttpman. A lot of the cheaper reels are really smooth etc when new. What you can't tell when you pull it out of the box is what they will be like in a year. You also can't tell what the drag quality is like. The drag is one of the most important things on a reel and can be the difference between catching a fish and breaking the line. You can be pretty sure that the big names will last longer and have better drags.

Same company that distributes JW Marine, Jarvis Walker, Penn, Halco and a few other things. Rovex is their own brand that they are developing in conjunction with some of their manufacturers. Thats my understanding of it anyway.

Rovex reels are brilliant for their prices, I've been using a Rovex Aureus 3500/4500 for a while now and it doesn't look like letting me down. It has two spools with different line capacities, great for the traveling angler, smooth drag, and braid friendly air bale arm.

Spooled with quality braid such as Fins, Suffix, Rovex or Stren this reel is one which will last you a while.

Tell us how you go,

BrissyBreamer

Now i know what you mean. In W.A Benbow is the agent for halco etc. Things a bit different in Vic. Halco is distributed by halco and JW marine is distributed through JW. Both just have a sales rep.
