Breaming HB's

Hi all, as Winters coming I'm stocking up on some HB's and Already stocked with a few including, R2S Baby Cranks 40F, Atomic Hardz, Super Bream, Stiffy Minnows, Stiffy Poppers, Surecatch Poppers (Owner rings and trebles), Starlo Skipping Prawn.

Don't want to buy a Sx40 as the spots I will be fishing in are extremely snaggy and I don't want to lose $20 just like that. I've been looking at a few selections on the net and found a few I like. What are your opinions on the following lures for the Brisbane River. I've already Circled the ones I like.

Strike Pro Pygmy's

River2Sea Baby Cranks 40F

Damiki MU-SP

Atomic Hardz Crank 38 Medium (Picture is for the Shallow Runners)

TT Switchblades

Hey Tom,

I cant tell you how suitable they are for the Brisbane River but the ones that look good to me apart from those you have circled are:

346G in the Strike Pros
HC17 in the R2S (this one is on my to buy list)
002 and 010 in the atomics

good luck

The only lures I've used out of your above selection in the Bris river are the blades. They do work quite well, but if you're working snaggy areas, get ready to lose a few.

The best thing to do with the blades in snaggy Bris river water is use heavier leader. Most of the river is brown enough that heavier leader won't scare the fish, and with the extra strength you may be able to straighten the hooks when snagged up.

Those pygmies do look good though.

Yeah mate, don't really like Golds to be honest. Don't know what it is, I'm more of a "Natural" fan. Thanks for your imput though.

In the Damiki Mu's the 217H "Black Ghost" is also a great colour

The 216H Apache and 012H Black Holo are also good for me but they're not in your pic.

The other colour in the atomic hardz you might want to look at is the 010 Ghost Wakasagi
