Yamaha Outboard Service (MELB)

Hi guys,

Time to get the outboard serviced - 40hp, 2stroke, 3cyl Yamaha.

Used to take it to JV (Springvale), but looking to take it to someone else now.

Where do you take yours? Recommendations? Best person to contact there? Someone in Melbourne preferred.

Also, if you have had issues with some mechanics/workshops, please PM me who to avoid - probably best not to post them publicly.

Thanks,
Paul

Mate you cant go past Cam and the guys at Geelong Boating Centre. They are Yamaha specialists. Tell them you fish the comps and I recommended you go their and they will look after you really well. Great mechanics awesome work shop,

Call owner Cameron McDonald on 5241 6966 and he will get Ash the service manager to look after you.

Cheers
Bill

Thanks to all the guys (and gals) who replied, but it's an old thread (goes back to March) and now it's a Merc Opti.

Took it to Baymarine at Chelsea (thanks Wayne!) for the first warranty service.

Cheers,
Alex
