Ecogear sx40LC & sx43

I've seen the odd tackle shop posting availability of these new lures, any body fishing with them care to report their experiences?

the tackle store i work at have the full range and the new colour are awsome,
i was fishin land based around tweed river mouth on sunday arvo and hooked what felt like a very big jew on a vx 50 but aftertaking 100m of line i had to bust it of other wise bye bye to a brand new spool of cast away.
also got a few nice bream on the lc43's, great lures they are a wider profile but still quite streamline to get a good hook up rate.
though the new lc 40's have set there hook points differently then the sx40's not sure if it mates any difference

out of opinion i think that the sx43 will work better for the general reason that its body shape is 3mm longer hence not changing too much from the so sucsessful orignal we all use today (sx 40). i just dunno about the LC sx 40.
but cant knock any of them until i try them so just guna wait for them to come in.

Yeah, 3mm longer isn't a heap of difference on the ruler, but on a lure it can mean a slightly thicker body, and often the extra length actually gives a slight variation on the wiggle. All things remaining the same (bib, weight, wall thickness, etc.), extra length = extra body cavity size = different buoyancy. Now, I think various changes may have been made to keep the action and suspension similar or the same. I think the 43 would suit the size 12 trebles that come on the SX40 better.

Not sure about those twisted eyelets on the LC though.....

I'm still a big fan of the older colours with the new additions in 369, 392 looking the goods

Which ones do you lads like the looks of?
