Can't see why it would be closed - nothing was mentioned by DEC when I was there the other day.

So I presume it is open as usual - if I get time I will drop past on Friday and/or Saturday to check - If I don't post saying it is shut then assume it is open.

Last time I launched there, there was a lot of roadworks going on. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Parking - yes & no

There is a number of bays available close to the ramp - when they are full you go across the road to the grassed area where there is plenty more.

YES but get there early Shane, lots of overflow parking in the grassed area opposite RPYC in the area surrounded by pine logs.

Can l suggest new entrants maybe take a drive to suss out the boat launching facility's and location before the day.You will sleep easier knowing exactly where to go,park and meet.Just a thought but l'm no Einstein. E=mcXhamburger.

I'll start off by saying I'm no boater so feel free to ignore everything I say

But there is a good sized car park at deep water point and 2 ramps from memory plus you get to work off the nerves with a bit of an blast over to the start. Keeping the speed limits in mind of course.

Then theres also the chance to check out Canning Bridge and the fwy flats for promising sigbs of life before the start.

Cheers
Nathaniel
