Atomic Hardz

Popped into the local today for a look and noticed that they finally have the Atomic Hardz in store. They're a bit slow up here cuz most people only want Barra lures . They look great and I was just wondering what models and colours people were using with the most success.

Hi Mate,
I can highly recomend these lure's.I had a fish with them over the weekend and they sure did produce some nice quality Bream. The colour i was using was a dark green with stripes of black. The other one i try'ed was the black one with a tiny bit of fluro orange on the tail.

Cheers

Thanks guys, I'll have to go get a few I think. I particularly like the transparent colours and I think a few other species will be interested too. What's been more successful, the cranks or the shads?

hey music,
They both work it is just a matter of trying to match the profile of bait that is around at the time, i personaly like the crank as they seem to cast a bit futher, but as i said match the hatch !!! i'm sure they both will work for you.
and yes i am associated with atomic so take my comments as you like but these lures do work as shown at the grand final this year with tristan taking out second place behind dizzy while using the hardz, and keep a eye out for the new blades, i was able to use them at the teams grand final at the weekend and they accounted for bream ,jew and bloody cat fish[they do go hard tho].
cheers
rob

Thanks Rob,
I've seen the new blades on the website and they do look good. I've got a couple of different blade type lures but haven't really had a chance to use them yet but I'll definitely be getting a few of the atomics when they come out. You can never have too many. I must agree with you about the catties. Captian & I went out a couple weekends ago up the fresh here chasing them on plastics just to get a bend in the rod. The things we have to resort to to get a fix.

I got a few fish on atomic hardz (ghost green shad) today.

I have not caught shiploads of bream on bibbed minnows.... but i caught 3 fish in 10 cast before the missus who was with me started to have a hissy fit.

It was the first chance i got to give them a good run........used no other bibbed minnows........only hardz.

I used a gulp worm for the majority of the day..........and switched to a HB because i was nailing too many small bream. I should have tied on a atomic from the start.

Ghost Green Shad(Thumbs Up)

Will be giving the rest of the colours i have bought a REALLY GOOD RUN TOMOROW!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah would have to agree.

Power Hawg......or Bulky Hawg?...........all i know is when they are combined with a violent whipping action......magical things happen, lol.

Will try all the colours i have tomorow that suit the conditions/water and hopefully have more to say about hardz......maybe it was just a fluke.
