ecogear blades

Hi all

Recently just bought 300 dollars worth of ecogear blades. Never used them before .Was wondering if those who have used them before give me a hand on how to use it?

Are they effective in dirty waters ?
Are they effective in clear waters?
What are the best way to "play" with this things?
Straight retrieve or let it sink and twitch along like SP?

ANy advice will be greatly appreciated !

ecogears

Hi,

I havent used them much (although i will be using them all winter hols), the fellas i know use them the same way as a plastic with 2 or 3 upwards flicks before letting them sink down to the bottom, also you can burn them across the flats and down deep.

Hope this helps

a shaken retive with lots of pauses works well. it kicks up alot of dirt and sand and really attracts some attention!

When i first read 300 bucks i thought, this guys stupid, who would spend that much on just blades.......then i had a look at how many i have in my bag and how many ive lost.......could not believe how quick we spend big bucks on lures i find that if you cast at your target area from a distance the friction from the line on the surface slows the lure on the drop....i think they drop too fast sometimes at a short distance....and they tend to hit it on the drop after a lift.
