Hulls

If i had the money i probly would of went a hornet trophy in the 4m or the 435, the 435 is a really stable boat. a cheap option is a 385 explorer you can get a bare hull pritty cheap that and build it up how you like.
all depends on what you acually want and how much you want to spend. my boat will owe me 5 grand once im finished.

I was lucky my old man has full acess to a work shop and is really handy with a welder.
have a serch around in the hull forum and you will find all the info you need, also worth a look in the bream boats and accesories forum.

My 3.95 Explorer Trophy may be up for sale next year if anyone is interested. Very stable, fully set up bream tournament boat (Mercury 30hp elec start, MK AP55, 116L livewell, livebait tank. Hummingbird 777c) and even comes extra thickness of 2mm bottomside and 1.87 beam. Trailer with new spare tyre 13", double winch, and more. Rarely used these days and owned by a female. Only thing wrong with it is cosmetic chipped paintwork. Boat is nearly 3 years old and not used as often as most boats.

So if anyone is keen on buying a boat next year (2009), PM me (I'm in Perth). .... sorry to hijack this post!

Coonta Kinta you may regret your rivets over welding.Welding is by far the only way to go with under floor deck framing.l work in aluminium framing and although handy and easy to construct a floor with rivets(no matter how big) they will eventually shear off leaving you with a floating floor.Welding is of coarse the only thing that will stand up to the trauma's a boat hull can experience in bad weather and extended use.The twisting, buffeting and knocks a hull receives in bad weather is sometimes extreme.
Your doing the right thing to give your flooring longevity Lewa.

Cheers Steve.
