I've used a very similar product to shift air craft around hangers and parking areas. Awesome tools. Not sure I'd bother with the expense for boats unless I owned a shipping yard though...or just had too much money to spend

Could make getting the boat down the side of the house easier, but cant really justify that cost seeing as I am getting better at reversing

I always thought a ride on mower would be good, that way your towing vechile has 2 functions

For some it might be a better and cheaper solution than widening turning areas or driveways to get cars around though.

My old man bought one of those to get his 6.2m Genisis up his steep and narrow driveway in Dawesville. The thing worked a treat on the boat.
He thought he'd give it a go on his work trailer which he built from scratch one day, which has a long draw bar and not much weight on the jockey wheel.
Anyway he got 3/4 of the way up then the thing lost traction and he had to ride it about 15m down the driveway and out onto the road before it stopped.
So for anyone thinking of getting one, make sure there's abit of weight down near the jockey wheel.

BTW, He's gotten used to the driveway now and just reverses the boat up with his Patrol so just sits there most of the time now.

Ah, just what I need, Powerhitch or Don, the best reverser I have seen on the planet . I've got a zig-zag driveway that goes into the garage, no wonder I haven't taken the boat out on my own since I moved in! Great idea indeed!

These are great for people like me hu live close to the river so i can walk down there but its a trek with a boat out the back! One of those things would be perfect for getting down there trouble free Be a bit of a problem hiding it once u got down there though

Mate they're very slow moving, you would want to live very close to the river.
