how to use luras?

ive used alot of soft plastics and they work,

but i never can manage to use hard bodies what colour, retrieve and so on

and someone give me some advice and i will be fishing off a kayak.

I'd say grab a sx-40 in any colour you are confident in (they all work). Just chuck em out and slow roll them back (ie slow straight retrieve). Just don't fish areas too deep as the only dive a metre or so. I've taken out friends with no fishing skills and put them onto bream doing this. They found it way easier than plastic which they gave up on almost immediately.

Trolling them behind a paddle yak also takes fish. Deeper flats or channels next to shallow flats are good.
