I have a 75 etec and am running a standard 3 blade 17" solas in aly. I have tried the 15 and I top out at 33kts. with the 19 I started porposing and the motor would only rev to 4400. From what I can gather and Im no expert, If you motor is revving out at 5- 5500 rpm then thats pretty good with these motors. Ive got mine lifted as high as it will go and i can go full noise and trim it out. I get around 36 -38kts gps speed, so im pretty happy. At the end of the day some boats are only meant to go so fast. I have it set up so i have the best of both worlds, being top end and accelleration.
cheers
