g'day tim,
going out with a "top" bream angler will probably give you some real good tips etc on how to go about this bream fishing caper but i noticed you have been out in your tinnie for 2 years and been very frustrated.sure going out for a few trips with some of the guns here will help but a good sound fishing knowledge of all aspects of fishing rock, beach, boat will go along way to helping you in your quest to be the best.because the sport of breaming is under going so many changes with techniques and styles etc no one here on this site can say they have got this bream thing down pat.even the "top" breamers are still learning and trying new things.the best thing you can do is read as much as you can here, ask questions,go to the breammaster store & pick their brains.a lot of guys here have been weeks without their first bream, with encouragement and a few tips and boat trips they are getting into fish and good ones as well.you can't run before you can walk so ask questions, tee up a few trips with some of the guys and hopefully you will start to get into some fish. cheers |

hey matey
Don't get too carried away start at the bottom and work your way up. Conditions here are a lot different to overseas and so are the fish.

Nifty, you're going to have to do better than that if you're wanting to ease the way for Ira to put your 24.9 in as 25.1 in the next comp.

Boy you guys have got it good these days! Back in the day it took me over a year before I landed a bream on a lure! [/QUOTE]
Don't worry Ira, it happens in all new sports. My other interest is wakeboarding and I've been into it as long as any other in perth. Tricks that took me well over a year to learn cos nobody else was doin em now takes the average grommet about three to six months. At least with bream fishin your age won't hold you back... Russ.
