Nilsmaster

Hey guys.
Just curious to whether anyone has had any success with the Nilsmaster Invincible in the 8cm range?
Just thought they might work on the flats!?

Yeah when I went up north they were the best light tackle lure for barra goin'...

Na seriously I've only used the 3cm invincible for bream... but they went alright

Nilsies have a great action so I couldn't see why they wouldn't be a good bream lure... From memory the shallow divers had more of a rolling action than the deeper divers sway action...

Lightbulb They're coming...

We'll have the nilsmasters in stock, we're just waiting for the next shipment of Deceptions and Oargee's to arrive and get paid for.

Warren.

Kingpin

There the ones that come with a single hook(not a single treble I mean a "single hook") which I replace with a single treble...
Dunno how available they are now???

hey guys i dont know how many of yous live around bunbury but in sportsmarine they have a tiny lure similar to what you are talking about and has the single hook on it, but how do you manage to cast those? got to be less than a gram.

Heh - i've got one of those lil mites, it's caught a few fish too!
I haven't had that much luck with the 5cm invincibles on bream, that's not to say they won't work .
I started using them on bream since i was using them for years on trout (they are THE HB trout lure for the SW WA IMO). But i think it was my technique that was the problem starting out, i'll have to check em again.
BTW the deep divers are far more versatile than the shallow versions - just keep your rod tip up for them to run to 1m.
The 8cm ones with the jointed tails are quite enticing but i don't know if they make them anymore - i certainly caught alot of browns on them.

You're talking about the Nilsmaster Finlandia. Used em, they do catch bream, but not as practical a lure as you think. Clipped off the single, replaced with a split ring and size 12 ultralight treble. Swims well, but it's a very very small lure, so no amazing action like the bigger Invincibles / Spearheads.

cheers
