My attack lure sometime swims on its side and swims to the left. I've tried adjustind the towing point but it still doesn't swim straight. Can anybody tell me how to adjust it

Scott,
Did you get one that was pretuned? - all the Attacks i've used (so far) work straight up. You didn't mention how you are attaching the lure, this may be effecting how your lure is swimming - if you are tying direct you should be using some sort of loop knot, rather than a half blood type tight up on the tow point (no wobble - no gobble) see the 'leader' forum for details. Snap swivels can also impede the action on the lure - if this is your prefered method, go for small snaps without the swivel. To tune your HB you need to bend the tow point toward the direction it swims. Just use small increments and check it. A small amount will make a major change to the action.

Hi Scotty. have tried varying the retrieve speed or the way you connect the lure to your leader.
Failing that, as a ex lure maker I can tell you some times you can get a lure that just will not swim regardless of what you try, my advice take it back to where you bought it and get them to exchange it for another. Cheers Warren |

Hi Scotty
If you have changed the hooks some are just too lite in weight & they will not give the keel effect required for the lure to swim straight go to a slightly heavier trebble to get the balance back. Hope this helps. donfish |
