our enviroment

When a friend asked me to fish a spot he hasn't fished in a while i was keen,But when we started pulling fish my enthusiasm turned to pure disbelief the state of the fish shocked us to the core,we did not pull one fish that was healthy,i think we need to take a long hard look at our selves and the way we treat our waters around perth. The sad fact is this waterway has deteriated in as little as two years,my friend was lost for words. The bream were in a shocking condition and the proof is in the pudding.

thats disappointing, the last few bream i caught in the swan were the best conditioned fish i have seen in a long time, no red marks, full of fight, prefect specimins if ever i've seen one.

Perth's swan river has had its fair share of bad luck last year with all the sewrage spills , there is still a lot of work that needs to be done to get the old girl healthy again imo. Its not like it was years ago. I feel worried about what my future kids will be experiencing in a decade or so what will the river be like then?? its hard to swallow sometimes.

it is funny alot of people talk about the swan there are more fisheries out there than the swan. The swan needs as much care as anywhere but the smaller places get affected first but we generally don't take notice till it is to late.

A complex problem without a simple solution. ASS is probably the culprit

not as complex as you think people just are not willing to sacrifice for the good of the enviroment but as long as we all think it is to hard nothing will happen.
