Is this a good price

Hi just woundering if $780 is a good price for a minn kota 55lb riptide bow mount brand new

Well here's the prices from BLA which are usually pretty close to the mark.
If you can get a brand new one from Australia for that price go for it, in fact buy 2 of them.
But if you are importing it, be careful because I have heard you are not covered under warranty if it comes in from the U.S under a private buyer.

About spot on for retail price of a 54lb Jarvis Marine Watersnake Bow mount!

yep i just brought it got it from from my local boat shop and yes its brand new in box and still in its plastic

Never heard a price this low. Maybe a superceded model

Either way that is below cost so someone took a loss

I believe they cost about $1000 for dealers to buy them.

there normal price at the shop is $1069.00
and its a brand new model not a superseeded one

Perhaps check that your motor is a brand spanker as the price you paid is significantly below cost for a Riptide 55lb.

If so, you got yourself a steal!

I think you should share the name of the shop with everyone so all the Vics on this forum can pay $780 for a kota.

Wasn't Good Sammy's was it?
