Side image sounders

How good do these things look! Just wondering if anyones got one or had a good look at one in use. They look the ducks nuts but hard for most to justify the price.....Then again....

hey mate i own the 987c there an awsome unit heres a pic of some structure ive found in our river and have taking a pic of it there well worth it u wont miss a thing with the side imaging.

Yeah Brad they do look awesome, and add the "Accelerated Real Time Sonar™" and it is hard to beat, but $4200? But its not me I have to convince

Had that on the Nitro but I spent to much time looking at the screen and not the line, missed to many bites

I went back to normal Lowrances in the next boats as the side scans seemed to work better in deeper water. I usually fish in 20ft or less........

Around that sort of money I like my LCX110C, it's frigging huge!
