Hi John

can I ask: what make is the canoe??
The outriggers look like a Roscoe kit??!!
How do you find it?

I ask 'cause I'm seriously looking at a Roscoe BassCatcher Estuary with outrigger kit, but as a Melburnian I don't get to see them that much..

BTW, Brunswick Rvr- lovely sopt. My Dad lives at Banora Point so I fished the Brunswick the last time I was up there...just fantastic.

Hi Gudgeon

No, they are not Rosco as far as I know. Bought them at Ballina Recreation Mart (NSW) for about $300.

As for the canoe brand, I don't know that either. There is no name on it. Bought it on eBay for $650. I'm very happy with it.

I've seen the Rosco with the outriggers. They look a great canoe. You could do a lot worse than buy one of those. Do you have any idea what they cost all up?

If you are ever up this way again let me know.

John

Hi Chop

Thanks...I'm very happy with it.

I had a look at your inflatable. Looks like just the thing for in the back of the suzuki sierra. The wooden floor should be good

John

Yeah I'm hoping to do what you've done and get something off Ebay or similar. $650- looks like you great price.
You just don't get that much of this sort of craft (flat-transom canoe) 2nd hand here in Vic, I supect its because we don't have the Bass fishing to the same degree as NSW & QLD??

The Roscoe BassCatcher Estuary is ~$1600 new. Ouch!! But compared to a new Pelican @ $2200, its a bit more reasonable (GRP v's RamX, so that's maybe why?).

Got another trip up there March next year so maybe I'll PM you closer to the date...Thanks.

Jason.
