Have you tried plastics at all?

Berkley 2" single tails and 3" bass minnows work well

Arthurs lake in the central highlands (Tasmania).

Thanks for that Haraldo I'm always surprised by the size of lures you guys use for trout. When I saw Jordans stash of trout HB's I spun out

Speaking of "Flash" I'm sure he will give you some tips with the single tails if you ask nicely.
